Common Portable Sanitation Challenges (and How to Solve Them)

Even experienced event planners and site managers run into sanitation surprises. Here are the issues we see most often and how to avoid them.

1. Underestimating Unit Counts

The cost of one extra unit is small. The cost of long lines and unhappy guests is huge. Always round up.

2. Bad Placement

Place units on level ground, away from food service, with truck access for servicing.

3. Skipping Handwash Stations

Hand sanitizer alone isn't enough at large or food-related events. Add at least one handwash station per cluster of units.

4. Forgetting Lighting

Evening events need lit units. Ask your rental company about interior lighting options.

5. Booking Too Late

Peak season fills up fast. Book your event rentals early.
